My name is Ewa Trela, I’m Polish and I live in Norway. This blog will be mainly about dancing and the everyday life of a dance teacher with some sprinkles of family life, travels and hobbies.
So: if your first question is: “is it even possible to make a living out of dancing in Norway?!” My answer is “YES” and I have a big grin on my face writing this 😊. I’ll make a separate post about how this whole “dancing business” started but one thing is a fact: I have a dance school and being a dance teacher is my 100% vocation.
I’m a mum of a fantastic little girl named Emma and a bonus-mum of another fantastic girl named Ellie. I’m also a lucky girlfriend – his name is Martin and he’s my love and my soulmate. In short words we are a patchwork family of four individuals with a mix of Polish, British and Swedish blood, living in Oslo. And no, we are not perfect, but we try really hard to be a team, have fun and enjoy life.
I hope you’ll find some of my posts inspiring, useful, funny or just entertaining.
My Skal Vi Danse adventure ended early this year (thank you for your support!!!) and I'm ready to offer you more classes in the new upcoming semester from October 22nd.
I'll continue with Dominican BACHATA on 3 levels: beginners, improvers and intermediate and I'm excited about starting SALSA beginners on Tuesdays. Remember that you don't need a partner and you don't need ANY previous knowledge for the beginners classes.
For all of you who are hungry for more challenges I will be offering BACHATA FOOTWORK and LADIES STYLING classes every other Wednesday. Thanks to your feedback about our social dancing, we will now have social dance/practice every other Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
You can still expect small groups (max 20 ppl per course), an individual approach, high quality teaching and of course loads of my lovely sense of humour ;)
I hope to see ALL "old" faces ;) and a lot of new ones, so PLEASE share this with your friends and family and spread the word so we have more nice people to dance with :)
All classes take place in Vulkan Depot, Maridalsveien 15.
